This site is designed to familiarize the viewer with the systems of the EMB 145 Regional Jet. It is currently under construction and probably will be for some time to come. I strive to make the systems explanations better than you would get if you were attending a ground school class. Perhaps I have, maybe not. If you find an area that needs further clarification, please let me know. I will do my best to correct it.
The EMB 145 systems that will be covered are listed on the left side of the page. These buttons are functional in the members section. Not all the sections as I said are currently active. If you get a page not found error, keep checking back. I am striving to get new sections done all the time.
The goal of this study is to make an animated study aid. Currently there is a working overhead panel that can be used in order to perform flow checks. Its pretty sweet. The other avionics and flight instruments are currently being developed. When I am finished, you will be able to play with the avionics to get a good understanding of how they function, prior to entering the sim.
The "Limitations Section" contains animated flashcards for the limitations as well as the memory items. Keep in mind these are from numbers are procedures used by Continental Express. Please check with your specific aircraft manual to verify that these are correct for your specific aircraft.
It's better than reading a book!
Right click on the panel to get a sample of the overhead panel.
